The City of Augusta is situated on the central eastern border of Georgia, and is located at the head of the Savannah River. This bustling community features a lovely climate, which made it a major resort town throughout the early and mid-20th century. These days, however, Augusta has diversified to feature all sorts of burgeoning companies and thriving businesses.
In 2016, Augusta was selected as the new location for the National Cyber Security Headquarters. This new project would ultimately attract as many as 10,000 cyber security specialists to the Fort Gordon area! Each year, more and more businesses expand their operations throughout the local community. These companies include Procter & Gamble, Kellogg's, International Paper, and many more.
